#RockSolidHistory from the AT&T Archives in Warren, NJ!
What is this place, you ask? Well, it is the mothership of all local AT&T artifacts, which sometimes go on display at AT&T Labs' Innovation Center in Middletown, NJ. This museum/innovation center is not open to the public; it is meant to inspire a new generation of communications inventors and professionals. My dad is pictured here. He donated some neat memorabilia to the AT&T Archives yesterday as he spent his ENTIRE career at Bell Labs/AT&T. Very few people can say that today. If you are reading this post on your cell phone, my dad was a part of that. He is on the original patent for the cell phone. No, we did not see royalties from that - AT&T did! He's a very modest guy, but was really one of the great minds of Bell Labs. I think when people see him today, they don't realize his important contributions to our everyday life. #ATandTarchives #ATandTinnovationcenterNJ #BellLabsHolmdel #MyDadisAwesome #3CheersformyDad #cellphonepatent #ATandTLabsMiddletown #StopAgism
