#RockSolidHistory from Lake Topanemus Freehold, NJ!
This beautiful and spacious park was perfect for my father to walk, as it has mostly even ground. This land was formerly Forman's Mill in the 1800s. Today it has a small reflection garden dedicated to Jean DeCicco-Levine, who was instrumental in creating this park. It overlooks the lovely lake, which is currently chock full of lilypads. I looked for frogs, but it was a little chilly for them. #exploreNJ #GetOutdoorsNJ #localhistoryNJ #historyiseverywhere #historydetective #MonmouthCountyhistory #Freeholdhistory #historyforkids #GardenStateHistory
