The Met holds much history

#RockSolidHistory from The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, NY!

I remember coming here as an elementary school student, and being whisked through the Ancient Egypt and Medieval armor exhibits. But there is SO much more.

Paintings, some of the most recognized of George Washington, are hung here. There is also a cool instruments exhibit with things from around the world, both new and ancient. Asian exhibits show some very exquisite and precious art.

You could easily spend a day, or two, here!
