Sorry it's been a minute! But I'm back after my first year of teaching sixth grade ELA and schooling through New Jersey's Alternate Route program.

I have a bunch of events coming up this summer that I am excited to share with you! The first is the Passaic County Book Festival. Set for Saturday June 8 in Weasel Brook Park in Clifton, this outdoor event is a great time to meet local authors, go on some fun rides, and dine from a food truck!

I will have a table and also take part in a few panels. Details TBA!

Look forward to seeing you all there. I will be selling "A Rock Solid History of Hawthorne, New Jersey" for kids, sharing some small freebies, as well as giving out free copies of an article I wrote with Fazli Hida for New Jersey Studies on the Influenza Epidemic in Paterson in 1918. The story is shockingly similar to events that happened during Covid-19...See you there!
